Course Description:

This course will give Realtors® the tools they need to serve their clients with objective, accurate and thorough CMA’s. The class focuses on important concepts and tools including market analysis, competency requirements, Broker price opinions, code of ethics considerations, and TREC rules relating to CMA’s and BPO’s. Students will learn the process of creating a CMA including identifying buyers and sellers’ markets, identifying comparable properties, understanding Appraisal methodology, adjusting comparable properties, and developing the CMA report. Students will learn how to present the CMA to their client and achieve agreement on a final price.

About the Instructor: Cindy Baas

Cindy Baas is a Texas REALTOR® with over 19 years of experience. Starting her career in Central Texas in 2006, she became a broker in the DFW area in 2017. Passionate about helping clients achieve their real estate goals, Cindy believes in the importance of active listening and patience. She dedicates time to learn about the neighborhoods and cities where her clients seek properties, ensuring she meets their needs.

As an advocate for the real estate profession, Cindy has taught agents for the past 10 years through brokerages, associations, and Texas REALTORS®. She actively participates in local, state, and national real estate boards and committees, supporting the protection of private property rights and preserving the dream of homeownership.

In her free time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and traveling.
